The Columbia River Gorge in northern Oregon is home to dozens of impressive waterfalls. The Wahkeena Falls is one of my favorites. I love the contrast of the white water against the green covered rock. This waterfall is a little tricky to photograph as the trail passes right under the falls and this produces a continual spray of water at the camera. It took several shots until I captured one with a dry lens. I shot the waterfall with a 1/2 second exposure to show the movement of the water.
